Sally Mann on Art:21
Bruce Gilden/Cindy Sherman/Ernest Gaines on the Egg
Crewdson on the Egg
is there anything out there on Nan Goldin?
any tips? anything else come to mind? Among those I do have access to and come to time and time again:
magnuminmotion (the Bruce Gilden, Martine Franck, Alec Soth, Alex Webb, Martin Parr, and Thomas Dworzak essays are really great)
that Winogrand/Bill Moyers video (but where O where is the Emmet Gowin section that preceded it? Having been in love with his work (and his wife) for years, the first time I watched it I was really struck with how, well, ordinary their lives were. At first it was kind of a disappointment, but in hindsight it makes the pictures that much more magical.
Also, any leads on technical videos that aren't full of cliche work and might be more interesting than me explaining cameras are always welcome.

On http://www.charlierose.com/ there are interviews with both Sally Mann and Nan Goldin (I've only seen the former) plus quite a few other big name photogs.
Hope that helps? Cheers, Lucy
Coincidence? I am posting an interview with Nan Goldin today!
the 3 disc DVD series CONTACTS is pretty good - there's an episode with Nan Goldin on the second disc.
Shawn,
i haven't checked the links in a while to cull out the dead ones, but below my blog roll is a list of audio and videos. there are some gems there.
that contact series ed mentions has been my staple this semester. it's excellent for quick 12-15 minute clips to back up powerpoint lectures. i would transport the art 21 your way if i was a little closer. sorry!
The Art 21 DVDs are available on netflix if you know any netflixers, as are the Contacts DVDs.
The Mermelstein and Meyerowitz videos might produce some usable clips.
If you find the Gilden video online please share.
The recent Genius of Photography series from the BBC was fantastic. I believe the last episode was about Joel Meyerowitz, Gregory Crewdson, Nan Goldin, and Sally Mann. There were six episodes in all, each one was jam packed full of goodness.
u tube Godard interviews also Henri Cartier Bresson 60 minute interview on charlie rose ++..
